America's Next Top Model's Jay Manuel Takes on a New Venture

Tyra Banks isn’t the only one with a flourishing career. Jay Manuel, best known for his inclusion on America’s Next Top Model, has a new endeavor, which gives him the opportunity to showcase his expertise on the world of dating.

Manuel, a 34-year old native of Ontario, Canada, is presently the creative director for the photo and commercial shoots on America’s Next Top Model. He also serves as the producer, creative director and host of the Canadian version of Top Model.

After proving he has what it takes to artistically produce chic photo shoots, he ventures with Match.com through "Portrait Toolkit." Although his new project is in a different field, it’s not actually so much apart from his work on Top Model. Still focused on the concept of a makeover, instead of models, he attempts to help the general public to get a date. In his latest project, he offers his exquisite eye to provide sensible and straightforward advice on how to launch oneself in portraits when posting an online profile on the dating service website. In addition, he attempts to bring out a person’s maximum potential to become attractive and pleasing to the eye.

It looks like things are going very well for Manuel, who started out as a make-up artist in the fashion industry. It also seems like Tyra Banks’

versatility in the field of hosting, singing, acting, and modeling, has positively rubbed off to Manuel. Apart from his work on America’s Next Top Model, he also hosts his own show Style Her Famous on the Style Network, which features an average woman who goes through a makeover in the likes of her favorite celebrity. Furthermore, he has recently launched his own make-up line called Manuel Override.
